Partial Documentation

The following record types do not have a NetSuite API that enables Strongpoint to capture the full customization data or they are standard objects which cannot be changed and so are partially documented:

Object Category Description Change Impact Change Tracking
Custom Report Other

Partial Documentation: Custom Reports are spidered, but only the name, type, date last used and date last modified are captured. Changes to the report itself cannot be documented by Strongpoint at this time, but Strongpoint will capture that it was changed by the date last modified.

Changing these can impact what data is shown on the report.

Example: Change to Report Layout

  • Strongpoint will detect that the Date Last Modified in the Analytics Audit Log were changed and creates a change log.
  • The Change Log will indicate when the Report was updated.
  • From there, you will need to look at the Custom Report itself.
    • Go to Customize the Custom Report.
    • Click on More Options.
    • Click on the Audit trail subtab.
PDF Template Other

Partial Documentation:  PDF Templates are spidered, but only the name, type, date last used and date last modified are captured. Changes to the PDF Template itself cannot be documented by Strongpoint at this time, but Strongpoint will capture the change by the date last modified.

Changing these can impact email templates and other areas where PDF templates are used. TBD
Standard Column Field Standard Objects Customization records are created only for Standard objects that are in use by scripted objects such as workflows or scripts. These are tracked to identify the automation dependencies. No risk since there is no way to change standard objects in NetSuite. If a standard object is added to or removed from a customization, a change log will be created for that customization.
