Categorize all Customizations in Your Account

Part of the bundle removal process is to categorize all the customizations in your account, this is completed with saved searches and  csv imports and exports (due to some limitations with mass updates).
Note: Bundle components that don’t have relationships outside the bundle or customizations that are not related to the bundle need to be flagged with CSV imports/exports since mass updates don’t have summary criteria for this type of search.

Step 1: First Saved Search

To create the first saved search:

  1. Go to Lists.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Choose Saved Searches.
  4. Find the Outside bundle with no relationships to the bundle saved search.
  5. Under the Criteria tab, click on Standard and add the following filters:

  1. Click Preview. (this may take some time, if it times out, please see the troubleshooting section for more details.)

Step 2: Export and Import the CSV File

  1. Export as a CSV file.

  1. Open the CSV file and delete the Overall Total row.
  2. Save the CSV.
  3. Go to the Setup tab.
  4. Choose Import/Export.
  5. Select Import CSV Records.

  1. From the Import Assistant fill in the following:
  • Import Type: Custom Records
  • Record Type: Customization

  1. Under CSV File(s), select the CSV file you just exported.
  2. Click Next.
  3. Under Import Options, choose Update.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Under Field Mapping, add:
  • Internal ID
  • Customization: Removal Scenario
  • Customization: Removal Scenario 1
  1. Click Next and Start the Import.
  2. Choose Save & Run.

Step 3: Second Saved Search

To create the second saved search:

  1. Go to Lists.
  2. Select Search.
  3. Choose Saved Searches.
  4. Find the In bundle with no outside relationships saved search.
  5. Under the Criteria tab, click on Standard and add the following filters:

  1. Select Preview. (this may take some time, if it times out, please see the troubleshooting section for more details.)

Step 4: Export and Import the CSV File

To export and import the CSV file:

  1. Click Export.

  1. Open the CSV file and delete the Overall Total row.
  2. Save the CSV file.
  3. Go to the Setup tab.
  4. Choose Import/Export.
  5. Select Import CSV Records.

  3. Under Import Options, choose Update.
  4. Click Next.

  2. Choose Save & Run.
